ALL IN / Krinzinger Projekte
Excerpt from the book Stand der Materie:
Shortly after my solo exhibition at Startgalerie / MUSA, my remaining possessions were brought to Galerie Krinzinger Projekte, installed there, photographed, and then taken away again. Some of the resulting photographs were later used in another book: Stand der Materie – December 2014. The book visualised the course and final result of the previous exhibition Am Wachsen / Ready to Switch and was presented together with the work Gruppenbild 1 and the first book Stand der Materie – October 2014 at Krinzinger Projekte. It was part of a group exhibition of the class for Transmedia Art, curated by Brigitte Kowanz.

GRUPPENBILD 2 (All In / Krinzinger Projekte)
Excerpt from the book Stand der Materie:
On 10 December 2014, at the opening of the group exhibition “All In” at Galerie Krinzinger Projekte, the following words were spoken by me as part of my performance:
ICH SCHWEBE, WEIL ICH SO LEICHT BIN / DIE GRENZE IST MEIN ZU HAUSE / ES WIRD NICHT BESSER / SCHLAF IST KEIN TRAUM / ALLES GILT ALS WERKZEUG / MACH, WAS DU WILLST
With the final word, the reactions of the audience were documented photographically. As this marked only the beginning of the work, those who wished to take part in a future continuation were asked to exchange their names and contact details for a numbered key tag. In this way, a second group picture was created.

The aim of this work was to create a counterpoint to Gruppenbild 1. In the first image, I removed the identity of the individual and created an anonymous group that stands for an action at a particular place and at a particular moment in time. In the second action, I created a document that revealed the identity of the people (the witnesses of a particular event) in the form of their faces, names and contact details.
Visual communication stood in the foreground in the first action, while in the second, the verbal became the means of expression. Since the first group portrait was the materialised result of a process, I wanted to create an open potential in the second group portrait, from which an idea could only later develop. Something that could be described as an anchor in the future.
I wanted to place myself and the participants in a situation in which we were waiting for a realisation, to create a state of expectation and to initiate the beginning of a process of self-observation. With this work, the year 2014 came to an end.
The work functions as a continuation and counterpart to Gruppenbild 1, and as part of the ongoing process, long-term performance and research structure Stand der Materie.
